The Friends of the La Quinta Library invite you to join us for an evening of impressive performances celebrating Black History Month 2014. Retired Music Executive Eddie Gilreath will introduce the musical talents of Yve Evans, Elaine Woodard, James Clark, Reggie Alexander and Bruce Rochelle to bring a select group of Motown songs to life. The Motwon Alumni will include: Claudette Robinson; original member of The Miracles and is also known as “The First Lady of Motown”, Gerri Jones, Jobet Publishing, Miller London; Sales and Marketing, and Cornelius Grant: Recording artist, Writer, and Guitarist for The Temptations.
